Bring Up Grades or BUG is a program designed to provide recognition to students who raise their grades into an acceptable range and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next. Recognition includes being placed on the school’s BUG Honor Roll.
Each student received a Certificate and a goodie bag, which included a $10 Chick-fil-A gift card.

Aktion Club
The Kiwanis Club of Tamarac recently hosted its first Aktion Club Interest Meeting, bringing together prospective members, families, community partners, and BSO Tamarac to learn about this exciting new Service Leadership Program for adults (18+) with disabilities.
The evening concluded with attendees assembling hygiene care kits for individuals experiencing homelessness, demonstrating that service begins from day one.

SOS Children's Village Annual Walk
Summer Reading Program
Kiwanis Tamarac is deeply involved in the SOS Children's Village "Moving Up and Moving Out" project. This project assists 18+ year old children involved in the foster care system who have "aged out". At age 18, many foster children are put out of their foster homes because the government support ends on their 18th birthday.
The SOS Children's Village offers housing assistance, counseling, monetary help and guidance.
