Why I’m Working to Charter Aktion Club of Tamarac

A Message from the President

This initiative is deeply personal to me.

My passion for disability advocacy comes from my own lived experience and the journey that shaped my understanding of how important inclusion, opportunity, and representation truly are. I have seen firsthand how powerful it is when individuals with disabilities are not only supported but empowered.

That is why chartering the Aktion Club of Tamarac is my signature project this year. Aktion Club creates something our community needs more of a space where adults with disabilities develop leadership skills, serve their community, build meaningful relationships, and take pride in their impact. It shifts the narrative from limitation to leadership.

We are currently recruitment, and building a strong foundation of members, volunteers, and partners who believe in inclusive leadership.

This is more than starting a club.
It’s building a platform for advocacy in action.
It’s creating space for leadership without limits.
